This area in Cygnus is often overlooked because of its prominent neighborhood: NGC 7000, the North American Nebula, is located immediately to the southwest, just outside the field of this photograph. Besides a lot of nicely-colored stars of the Milky Way, there are some perceivable deep-sky objects in this area:
